The SFC offers programs for shooters at all levels, from recreational to high-performance, and provides professional development opportunities for coaches and officials. Shannon Westlake: Canada’s Shannon Westlake made her Olympic debut in Women’s 50m Rifle 3-Positions, following her recent podium finish at the Santiago 2023 Pan Am Games where she took home bronze in the same event, securing an Olympic quota spot for Canada. Shannon has been a force on the international stage, competing in three Pan Am Games since her first major multi-sport appearance at Toronto 2015. This incredible athlete hails from Ontario and a member of the National Development Team. Her dedication and skill have led the historic moment of Canada returning to a women’s rifle event at the Olympic Games for the first time in 24 years, Shannon competed in the 50m Rifle 3P Women's Qualification match on August 1, 2024, Great seeing Shannon go for it in Paris | Michele Esercitato:
| Tye Ikeda: Canada’s Tye Ikeda made his Olympic debut, competing in two events in Paris 2024: Men's 50m Rifle 3-Positions and double-entered in Men's 10m Air Rifle. His impressive performance at the CAT Championship of the Americas, where he earned a silver medal, secured Canada a quota spot for Paris 2024. This marks a significant moment as Team Canada has not been represented by a male rifle shooter at the Olympic Games since 2012. Tye also competed at the Santiago 2023 Pan Am Games, where he narrowly missed the podium, finishing in 4th place.
