It is with pleasure that the Shooting Federation of Canada announces the organizations that will be partnering with us to deliver the 2026 National Championships for all disciplines.

Rifle and Pistol

Saskatchewan Target Shooting and the Alberta Handgun Association have partnered together to plan and co-host the 2026 Rifle and Pistol SFC National Championships at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation located fifteen minutes from the Saskatoon airport in Saskatchewan.

In addition to the administrative preparation, the range is undergoing renovations to better suit the event, including a wind break for the shooting line and is eager to welcome all competitors.

This event will take place from August 8th to 15th 2026.

Trap and Skeet

Ontario Olympic Trapshooting Association has stepped forward to plan and host both the Trap and the Skeet 2026 National Championships at the Toronto International Sport Shooting Centre (TISSC) in Cookstown, Ontario.

These world class fields are a perfect location to host both shotgun events for Canada and organizers are committed to a well-run event.

The schedules for the two championships are set to align with other competition opportunities within North America:

Skeet – August 5th to 9th 2026

Trap – July 29th to August 2nd 2026

We are aiming to have Match Programs available in the coming weeks with registration opening around the middle of January. Watch the SFC website and social media accounts for more information as those dates get closer.

Shooting Federation of Canada is committed to delivering high quality events and we are confident that these partnerships with the tireless work of the volunteers will ensure the 2026 National Championships will be stellar events – we look forward to seeing you there.

SFC is interested in working with organizations interested in hosting SFC sanctioned events, where the scores can be recognized for National Team ranking. In the future if your organization is looking to host events, please reach out to Lisa Roddie here.
