SFC held its 2026 annual meeting on September 12th, 2026. We appreciate the large turnout of people who helped ensure we could accomplish the requirements of the business of the corporation. In addition to the review of the finances and approving amendments to the by-laws, a major component of the annual meeting was to elect directors to sit on the board.

For the Shotgun Council Director position, Colin Grover completed his one-year term and received the heartfelt thanks from the federation for his service on the board. Yuhito Adachi ran unopposed for that position and was elected by the Members in attendance for a three-year term.

There were two Directors at Large positions available. Sandra Honour’s term ended and she volunteered to stand for election for another term. Jim Kochanoff’s term also ended. Jim, who has served tirelessly as the corporation’s finance officer, decided to not run again for election. Jim brought his professional finance experience and previous governance experience to the board, and the corporation is grateful for his volunteer dedication.

Three candidates volunteered to serve as Directors at Large, so an election was held and Members of the corporation selected Sandra Honour and Igor Kostioutchenko to serve three-year terms as Directors at Large.

Yuhito, Sandra and Igor join Craig Norman, Brian LaGroix, Elaine Brown, Bob Ossowski, Brett Nattrass, Francisco Grajales and Sharon Bowes who all continue in their roles, to round out a strong Board of Directors for the corporation moving forward.

Following the annual meeting of the corporation, the board of directors met and as per the by-laws appointed Officers for the upcoming year. Sandra Honour was reappointed as Chair; Craig Norman was reappointed as Vice Chair, and Igor Kostioutchenko was appointed as Financial Officer.

We thank all the candidates for offering their skill and expertise to SFC and we are especially grateful to all the individuals who have served as directors. Thanks again to everyone who engaged in the annual meeting and associated requirements of the corporation.
