Developing a sustainable pathway to world-class performance in ISSF target shooting.

The Shooting Federation of Canada’s High Performance Program is focused on increasing the number of Canadian athletes capable of delivering competitive international performances in ISSF target shooting events. Recognizing the need for athletes to perform at the highest levels to reach World Cup finals or secure Olympic and Paralympic quota positions, the program prioritizes the systematic identification, targeted development, and performance support of athletes with the highest potential.

Delivered through a decentralized system, the program works in partnership with athletes, personal coaches, and provincial organizations to identify performance potential, establish clear performance standards, and provide targeted support. The program aims to increase the number of athletes achieving Top-15 results at ISSF World Cups, CAT Games finals, and Olympic and Paralympic quota positions within the LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032 cycles.
