    Dear athletes,

    The SFC is pleased to announce the dates and locations of the 2022 High Performance Team Trials. The 2022 Team Trials will be opportunities to achieve qualifying scores for the 2023 High Performance Team however QSDR’s must be submitted a minimum of 1 month in advance. You can find the 2023 QSDR form here in English and here in French.

    This second season of the CCC saw an increased number of participants with 273 competitors. The awards were given last weekend. We are just starting the fall & winter season. This championship is open to all SFC and provincial or territorial shooting organizations members at no cost. Spread the word!

    Today, Doug Blessin finished 33rd and Lyne Tremblay 36th position at the SH2 10M mixed prone event early this morning.

    The next event for our canadians will be held September 4.

    For those aspiring athletes hoping to join the 2022 High Performance Junior Team please see the attached memo regarding the waiving of the $25 QSDR fee here. Please also be aware of the Junior Addendum as the High Performance Program will be accepting retroactive scores for QSDRs and the level officials needed has been reduced among others.

    If your club is interested in hosting the 2022 High Performance Team Trials you can find the bilingual application to do so here. The application must be submitted to admin@sfc-ftc.ca by 10am EST September 17th, 2021. If you have any questions about the bid process please contact High Performance Coordinator, Joey Hutton, at jhutton@sfc-ftc.ca.

    The Shooting Federation of Canada will host the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Members (AMM) on Saturday, September 11th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm ET. This meeting will be in teleconference format (similar to last year) in an effort to engage the SFC membership from coast to coast to coast.

    A one (1) hour meeting of the Board of Directors will immediately follow the 2021 AMM.

    Please note that all members should be familiar with their SFC login credentials prior to the meeting. Only those members in good standing, having a valid SFC membership six months in advance of this meeting, will be permitted to vote pursuant to the SFC’s By-Laws.

    For access to all 2021 AMM documentation including the Agenda, Voting Procedure, Motions including a 2021 Special Resolution, previous minutes, Nomination and Proxy Forms etc., please log in to your SFC account at https://sfc-ftc.ca/ and follow the links to the Meeting under the MEMBERS tab.
